It was a lit Saturday night in the Wacko's Gentleman's Club parking lot. My friends invited me to come meet some girls they were partying with and in the back seat of that Lincoln Town Car sat the most beautiful girl I had ever seen. She clearly hated me. I don't know if it was my rap songs or the gestures of kindness, like offering my coat while we waited in line outside the nightclub but she reluctantly let me drive her home.
Over the next few weeks we talked almost every day and started planning a trip to South Carolina. At one point I thought she ran off with my rental car and left me stranded in the hotel room but she was just vaping on the balcony. It was at that moment right there, I knew she was the one.
Fast forward 10 years and we are finally doing what we should've done a very long time ago. We both have pasts but it was the vision of a future together that brought us so much further than either of us have ever been. We started a family together, we grew a business together and have created the kind of life both of us have always dreamed about. You can't say Travis without Lia. You can't see Lia without Travis. Our bond is inseparable and I can't think of anyone else that I want to spend forever doing this life with.
Til death and it might come to that because this chick is crazy, do us part. I will always do my part because one in the hand is always better than two in the Bushee.
